The water sports school of J&K state sports council has started the summer water sports coaching camp at Nehru Park, here.
The opening day of the camp saw around 60 trainees hailing from different parts of the valley taking part in it. In the camp, coaching of Canoeing, Kayaking, Canoe Polo and Swimming would be trained under the supervision of International water sport coach of the state, Bilquies Mir.
“The intention is to make base of water sport strong in Kashmir. There is overwhelming response from players to the camp and we intend to make in regular affair. The camp is open to all and anyone who wants to take part should directly come water sports school, Nehru Park,” said Bilquis.
