1400 children of age group 6-15 years will be participating
Srinagar, 06 July: The Jammu and Kashmir Football Association organized first inter grass-roots and inter Academy football competition 2017 in Srinagar that commences from 06th July 2017. The competitions are being sponsored by the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
Officials of the Sports Council informed that almost 1400 children in the age group of 6-15 years from all corners of the Kashmir valley are participating in the competitions.
Furthering on, the officials said that almost 14 matches will be played every day in almost every district of the Kashmir division.
On the occasion Mr Baseer Ahmad khan, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir were the Chief Guest and Mr Farooq Ahmad Lone, DC Srinagar, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra, Secretary Sports Council were guest of honours.
Apart from the members of the Sports Council, the officials of the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council were also present on the occasion.
