In order to engage the Youth of the State Jammu and Kashmir, particularly the Kashmir Youth, Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council came up with an initiative of Logo Competition for the Council and announced the cash prize of 100,000 Rupees. The Council received a huge response and received almost 500 entries from the youth. The youth commenced a lot of time while designing the logo and it was matter of happiness for us that they remained busy in designing of logo rather than indulging in stone pelting and other anti government activities.
