JAMMU: Women’s Karate team J&K made a new record by winning two bronze medals in 9th Commonwealth Karate Championship held at Durban South Africa from 29th Nov to 2nd Dec. This is first time in the history of Karate J&K.
Poonam Salathia has won bronze medal in Senior women team kumite. Shri Sunil Sharma President (AKAJK) state Karate Association , Ex Minister, Mr Rahil Gupta & Mr Nazir Ahmad Bhat Vice president along with other EC members congratulate the winners parents and coach for the great success.
Moreover it’s also remains a great successful event for Ambedkar Gupta as Indian National Team Coach as India remains runners up champion by winning 2nd highest gold medals in the championship.
