State Cricket Academy T-20 Championship
SRINAGAR: Five matches were played Sunday in State Cricket Academy T-20 Championship across various districts of the state.
In the first semi-finals of Kulgam district leg of the tournament, Wild Warriors Ashmuji beat Tiger XI Pahloo by eight wickets. Batting first, Tiger XI were bowled out for 155. Nadeem Javid took two wickets for Wild Warriors. Nadeem then shone with the bat in the hand, scoring a solid 62 to help his side chase down the target easily. He was chosen man of the match for his all-round brilliance.
In Bhaderwah district fixture, thanks to Fasil Tak’s 72 Doda Cricket Club beat Friends Club by seven wickets. After winning the toss, Friends Club made 133 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Doda chased down the target losing just three wickets. Faisal was chosen player of the match for his match winning knock.
