Srinagar: Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Dr Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, on Monday visited various areas in North Kashmir to take a review on the ongoing developmental projects. Dr Naseem visited Indoor Sports Stadium Bramulla, Sports Stadium Sopore, Indoor Stadium Shadipora Sumbal and reviewed the progress and maintenance works of the stadiums.
Besides he also interacted with football players at Sopore wherein certain demands from the young players were put forth and in response, secretary sports council assured every possible help.
During his visit the Secretary, Sports Council directed the engineering wing to ensure that the speedy work on stadiums so that these could be dedicated to young sportspersons of the state as soon as possible.
Various other officials including Chief Accounts Officer, Yasir Arafat, Executive Engineer, Manager Indoor Baramulla and other officials accompanied secretary Sports Council.
