Assured full support to the aspiring players, Sportspersons
Anantnag, Jul 20: Joint Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, Nazir Ahmad Bhat on Thursday visited various playing fields in the South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. He directed the officers of Sports Council based at district levels to maintain the grounds of the district properly for the aspiring players.
Joint Secretary also asked the district Sports officials to pursue vigorously about the proper maintenance of grounds at Anantnag, Mattan and Seer Hamdan.
Later on Bhat interacted with the Sportspersons and to redress their grievances, he said, “for the betterment and to maintain and activate the sports activities in the state, the necessary equipments will be given to the players for their day to day practices and trainings.”
During his visit to the various grounds, Joint Secretary Sports Council assured full support to the players and the sports persons of the South Kashmir from Sports Council.
Meanwhile, Secretary Sports Council said that government is committed to upgrade the existing infrastructure of Sports in the State Jammu and Kashmir.
A team of district Sports officials accompanied the Joint Secretary during his visit to the ground.
