Secretary J&K State Sports Council Waheed ur Rehman Parra has felicitated the State Wushu team for emerging second runner-up in the 25th Senior National Wushu championship held at Ranchi from January 25 to 30.
In the event, JK bagged overall third place after a gap of 15 years. The event saw around 1100 players from 42 affiliated units including SSCB, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, Assam Riffles, SSB and All India Police Control Boardof Wushu Association of Indian participating in it.
The SSCB secured first place where as Manipur were Second in the Sanshou event.
