Jammu: In the ongoing Premier League J&K 2020-21 district Jammu number of football matches were played at G.G.M Science College Football ground Jammu. The league is being organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with Football Association and under the supervision of Ashok Singh, divisional sports officer, J&K Sports Council, Jammu and the chief coach Satpal Singh.
In the first contest between Sports Council Football Academy and Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Football Club the match ended in a draw with score of 1-1.
Dimple Bhagat, a player from Jammu selected in Indian Super League for FC Hyderabad was introduced with the players and officials before the start of the match.
In the second match Sainik Colony FC defeated its opponent City FC Club by the margin of 1-0 goal. Pulkit Jeet Singh from Sainik Colony FC was the sole scorer in the contest.
Fifth match was played between Hero FC and J&K Bank Academy, where hard work brought victory to Hero FC who won the match by the margin of 1-0.
The teams were introduced by Satish Gupta, manager, M.A Stadium, J&K Sports Council, Jammu who encouraged the players to play well with the spirit of sportsmanship regardless of result.
The sixth match was between Pram FC and Shaheen FC which ended in a draw with the score-line of 1-1.
Ziara Kousar – the first lady in the Technical Panel displayed her talent, experience and expertise in culminating the matches successfully. Her decisions and confidence delivered in the football matches was appreciated by all the participating teams and officials concerned. Dheeraj Meenia, Aman Banathia, Abhishek Kim, Ajay Singh and Satnam Singh were also the part of the technical team who delivered their best.
Prominent Club members Narinder Gupta, Chairman DFA Jammu, Yousaf Don, Secretary DFA Jammu and Kamal Kishore, Football Coach DFA Jammu and the large numbers of sports lovers besides the players and officials of the team showered their blessings to all the participating football players and appreciated the initiative of the Sports Council in organizing the Premier League and hoped the same will continue in the next year also. This will ensure youngsters will be given right directions for achieving their goals they said.
