Team won Bronze at 35th Sub Junior National Handball Championship in New Delhi
JAMMU, Dec 31: Jammu and Kashmir Handball team today met and interacted with the secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Dr Naseem Javaid Chowdhary at his office. The team won Bronze at 35th Sub Junior (Boys) National Handball Championship in New Delhi held from 26th to 30th December 2018. The team won by 31-21 from Madhya Pradesh.
The State team was picked for this prestigious tournament by the Association and was screened by Screening Committee of the J&K State Sports Council.
Secretary Sports Council, Dr Naseem Chowdhary appreciated the players and welcomed them with garlands. He also appreciated the coaches and managers of the Handball Association who are tirelessly working for the improvement of sports in the state. Dr Chowdhary further assured enhanced facilities and support for excelling in sports arena.
