CM Mehbooba Mufti (President J&K State Sports Council) approves Conferment of Sher-I-Kashmir Sports and Pashuram Awards for the period 2012-13 to 2015-16.

JAMMU, 25 JANUARY: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, who is also the President of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council on Thursday approved conferment of Sher I Kashmir Sports Awards for outstanding sportspersons and Pashuram Award for best coach for the period of 2013-14, 2015-15 and 2015-16. The applications were invited through open advertisement and in pursuance of the advertisement notifications, applications received were scrutinized by the award committee of the sports Council.

It is pertinent to mention here that 10 outstanding sportspersons and 3 best coaches /instructors have already been selected for grant of Sher I Kashmir award and Pashuram Award for the period of 2012-13 as per pre revised rules by the then award committee.

Sher I Kashmir Award for outstanding sportspersons for the period of 2013-14 conferred on following:
